Project Description
Austin Sandy Architects is a San Francisco Bay Area, architecture firm focused on the design, detail, and execution of highly crafted spaces. Their work includes single-family residences, commercial and mixed-use office space, restaurants, and multi-family. As a full-service architecture firm, they offer a full range of design services, project development, and construction administration.

The visual identity is built around a modular system that always addresses the context the brand occupies. This reflects the approach and process of the firm. Inspired by floor plans, the dots serve as dividers and anchor points to delineate information, guiding the flow of the viewer in the same way that a space influences the movement of its inhabitants.

The supporting elements are intended to highlight the materiality of their work while not overshadowing it. The website follows the idea of the architectural process, emphasizing materiality and layering—like sketching over plans with translucent vellum—treating each page as a layer on top of the last. The base layer, the home page, is static, with the dots acting as ever-present anchor points which contextually change based on what page you're on.
